A Day to Resist the Green Scare, June 17th

The day will include a series of films, workshops, discussion, dinner and music, and start at 11am. Topics will include information on corporate environmental destruction, government repression, activist security culture, know your rights, how to support environmental prisoners, and information about grand juries.

The event concludes with dinner at 6pm, and then the not-to-be-missed songs and stories of Peg Millett, at 7pm. Peg Millett is considered a heroine for her unwavering commitment to act against the destruction of the earth. She sings to sustain the soul, to hold out hope, to name sadness, to inspire, to call to arms, to worship the forest and to grieve. We hope to see you there!
